Dr Tendai Murisa

Tendai Murisa is the current Executive Director of SIVIO Institute. He holds a DPhil in Sociology from Rhodes University. Tendai has over 20 years of experience in institution-building and policy analysis, spanning three universities and multiple local and international organisations. Tendai is a former resident fellow of the Kettering Foundation. He is the author of several books, essays, and journal articles on African Philanthropy, Citizens’ agency & solidarity, public policy, land and agrarian reforms in Zimbabwe and across Africa. He is also active in building communities of practice and nurturing institutions that aim to enhance giving by Africans.
Mr Zephenia Shamba

Zeph Shamba is a seasoned Financial Risk Manager and a charter holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFAI). With over 20 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry, he has worked with notable organizations such as Old Mutual Insurance Company and Zimbabwe Insurance Brokers (ZIB).
In 2011, Zeph founded Victory Risk Services (VRS), a consultancy firm that specializes in Risk Modelling, Management, and Solutions. VRS operates in Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Malawi, serving clients both within and outside Africa. The firm has developed risk solutions for a diverse range of sectors, including Mining, Agriculture, Insurance, Transport, Construction, Manufacturing, NGOs, Mobile Network Operators, and Educational Institutions. Zeph’s key competencies include Investment and Financial Risk Management, National Developmental Finance Strategy, advising political candidates, and roles as a Financial and Sports Executive and Philanthropist.
